Meet Clare
Clare graduated from University of Manchester with a BSc(Hons) in Optometry. Since then Clare has undertaken further studies including Graduate Diplomas in Optometry and Ocular Therapeutics.
Clare has a keen interest in the ocular manifestation of systemic diseases but enjoys all aspects of optometry.
Clare is a keen triathlete and has competed in many triathlons, cycling races and running races.
When not at work she’s normally to be found enjoying the outdoors and the trails around Brisbane. With a keen interest in sport she’s our in store expert on sports specific eyewear.
Meet Franz
Franz graduated from QUT Queensland and has a keen interest in clinical optometry.
Franz is a Consulting Optometrist at The Park Centre for Mental Health and has been conducting clinics in rural Queensland centres for over 25 years, through the Commonwealth Visiting Optometry Scheme.
Franz and his wife, Margaret, live in Ipswich and have had a long and enjoyable association with Boonah
Meet Hali
Hali has previously worked in medical and office administration and enjoys the mix of working with patients and paperwork, a perfect fit at Boonah Eyecare.
Hali loves a bolder and more colourful frame and always encourages patients to at least try a few frames that are outside of their comfort zone. You never know when the frame you wouldn’t have chosen will become the one!
Meet Melissa
Melissa joined the Boonah Eyecare team in early 2018, and has lived in the Scenic Rim for over 30 years.
When Melissa isnt at work you’ll find her spending time with family and friends and exploring off beat locations on her motorbike with her husband.
She also loves spending time with her three fun loving cattle dogs.
